The Good News
What was the Gospel, or the Good News, preached by our Saviour & His disciples?

Mark 1:14-16
Now after that John was put in prison, YAHUSHA came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Luke 16:27-31
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YAHUSHA HaMashiach for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
What does it mean to repent?
To repent means to turn away from our false religious traditions, our sins & transgressions of our Heavenly Father's Commandments, & to return to our Heavenly Father in obedience to His Commandments, Torah, or Law. This is clearly seen in the following verses...
Ezekiel 14:6
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith Adonai YHWH; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
Ezekiel 18:30-31
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith Adonai YHWH. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith Adonai YHWH: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
The Messiah & His disciples preached a gospel of repentance. This entails turning away from our false religious traditions, our sins & transgressions of YHWH's Torah, & returning to Him in obedience to His Torah. YHWH's Torah is at the heart of the Good News of repentance for remission of sins that was preached by the Messiah & His disciples.
