YAHUSHA

The ARM of YHWH

Isaiah 53 is an amazingly prophetic passage that foretold the horrible suffering that YAHUSHA would endure on our behalf. However, it also gives us tremendous insight into who YAHUSHA really is.

Isaiah 53

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the ARM of YHWH revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to His own way; and YHWH hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth....

In this amazing passage, YAHUSHA is clearly referred to as the "ARM of YHWH". Similarly, the book of John confirms that YAHUSHA is the "ARM of YHWH" referred to by Isaiah.

John 12:37-38

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him: That the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, YHWH, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the ARM of YHWH been revealed?

That all the people of the earth might know the HAND of YHWH, that it is mighty: that ye might fear YHWH your Elohim for ever.

In all these verses above, reference is repeatedly being made to the Mighty HAND or ARM of YHWH. The Scriptures repeatedly indicate that YHWH brought the children of Israel out of Egypt by His Mighty HAND & outstretched ARM. The Apostle John & the Prophet Isaiah have made it clear that these are all references to YAHUSHA the Messiah. As the Mighty HAND & ARM of YHWH, YAHUSHA brought the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt.

These references to YAHUSHA as the Mighty HAND or outstretched ARM of YHWH, seem to indicate that YAHUSHA is & has always been the physical manifestation of YHWH in this material world. Similarly, the Prophet Isaiah also refers to YAHUSHA as the "Angel of His Presence."

Isaiah 63:7-9

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of YHWH, and the praises of YHWH, according to all that YHWH hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He hath bestowed on them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude ofHis lovingkindnesses. For He said, Surely they are My people, children that will not lie: so He was their Saviour. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them: in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
